Arriving in Florence from Pisa Airport
From the airport Galileo Galilei of Pisa there are car rental or there is a train station that is linked to Florence, with a train for hour, the trip is long one hour. There are also bus services, directly by the airlines or private that will tranfer you in Florence.

In the square there is also the Church of Santo Stefano dei Cavalieri, also designed by Giorgio Vasari, that houses a bust of Donatello and painting of the Vasari too.

Borgo Stetto
A neighborhood where where walking along medieval arcades and the Lungarno (the avenue along the river Arno). In this part of the centre there are churches and palaces of the romanesque and gothic period.

The Medici Palace

The Palazzo Reale (Royal Palace)
In this ancient palace took place the presentetation to the Grand Duke of Tuscany of the planets discovered by Galileo Galilei with his telescope. The palace was originally built by Baccio Bandinelli in 1559 and later enlarged how we can see it now.

From Florence to Pisa
From Florence to Pisa is only one hour's by car, driving on the highway, the trip is short and comfortable, and in Pisa there are parkings near the are of the leaning tower, that is a good starting poin to visit the city.
From Florence to Pisa there are also about one train for hour, the trip takes one hour to arrive at the central station of Pisa. The station is in the central historical centre and it's another starting poing to visit Pisa and the leaning tower.
